It’s officially one week to go until Valentine’s Day and our Insight team have decided to celebrate by producing a lovely infographic.
Some of the key findings include:
LAST MINUTE LOVERS
– 1 in 3 leave buying their Valentine’s gift to the last week – so there is still plenty of time to influence purchase behaviour
– Men aged 45+ are the most last minute, with ½ leaving their buying until the last week!
‘IN’ IS THE NEW ‘OUT’
– 1 in 2 plan to have a home cooked meal on Valentine’s Day vs 1 in 3 who are planning a meal out
– M&S was the #1 brand for food purchase consideration, followed by Waitrose
